CalWORKs Stage 3: Twelve-Month Eligibility

Except as otherwise provided by law or regulation, a family which transfers into Stage 3 from Stage 1 or Stage 2, or is certified as eligible for services in Stage 3 shall remain eligible for services for no less than 12 months following the transfer from Stage 1 or Stage 2, or the initial certification in Stage 3, as applicable, and no other changes shall be made by the contractor to the family's certified schedule during this time.
